Well, I got the news back. Several people, including myself - all using their services, are in the same position as me. The host is gone. This is bad news in that there are now 2 options left for everyone:
1: Find a new host, but start over as a clean server. I was unable to get the database information since the server completely disappeared, so there were no off-server backups.
2: Shut down EarthRO. There's still a community that plays other games that everyone could tag along in, or create if they wanted.
I hate having to announce this, because it's something we all don't want, but this is the reality of it. I have no problems continuing EarthRO if someone with good enough hardware can host, in which they would have to PM me, or if someone else who isn't a power freak like those in afRO's past have been (jasio, ender, others), otherwise I cannot continue to run a server which does not exist, and will have to close down the site.
Regardless of whether a host is found or not, everyone is free to chat with other EarthRO players on IRC, or join the main forums at http://forum.radiantage.com to talk about anime and other games, and perhaps if a game is popular enough, it can get it's own section 
As creator and Administrator, it is my regret to inform you all of this, but these are our only options. |

Old: ((level + int) / 8 ) * (4 + (skill level * 8 ))
New: ((level + int) / 8 ) * (4 + (int * 1.5) + (skill level * 16)) This should return priests swiftly to a position of which they lacked: Healing.
- EarthRO's 1st Anniversary
It's been 1 year since EarthRO has split off from the pre-existing, and corrupt afRO. It would be somewhat of an independance day, if I had not split off from my own project which had been overtaken by two very foolish admins, who I admit to putting in power. The same mistake I will not make twice.
